Jayme Gaspar is executive director of Heritage Mississauga, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of local history. Here’s what she had to say about hosting The Souterrain Impressions Exhibition from Sept. 26 to Nov. 30, 2015.

“The exhibit is also so diverse and flexible in the way it can be laid out and in the kind of venue that can host it. The exhibition lends itself to unique spaces. It’s not a strict linear, on-the-wall, walk-up-and-down-in-rows kind of exhibit. It can curve, jut out, be staggered, and it can do some really interesting things. It makes it more of a delight for the visitor because it’s not a typical gallery kind of exhibit. At every turn you see something new.”

Mr. Jeremy Diamond is the Executive Director of the Vimy Foundation.

“The carvings in the exhibit are displayed very effectively. You never know what’s around the next corner so there’s that element of discovery – the way it is when you’re underground. I really liked that.”
